Vaccine for Human Swine Flu (H1N1)
Although the human swine flu has been identified as a more common H1N1 strain it does not appear to respond well to the seasonal flu vaccine. This is most likely because it contains a large amount of genetic material from both avian flu and swine flu/fever.
Though a vaccine can be developed in a matter of weeks - or even days it unfortunately has to be grown to produce commercial quantities. It is therefore likely to be late May/Early June before any commercial quantities of vaccine are available.
